- Outside bets (red/black, odd/even) have ~48.6% win rate
- The house edge is the same for almost all bets on a given wheel
How to Use the Roulette Odds Calculator
Select a bet type (straight-up, split, street, corner, line, column, dozen, or even-money) and choose between European and American roulette. The calculator shows the exact probability, payout multiplier, and house edge for that specific bet. Compare different bet types to understand the risk-reward tradeoff of each wager.
What the Numbers Mean
The probability tells you how likely the bet is to win on any single spin. The payout shows how much you receive per unit wagered if you win (not including your original bet). The house edge is the casino's long-term mathematical advantage — the percentage of every bet the casino expects to keep over time. Lower house edge means a fairer game for the player.
Tips for Playing Roulette
Always prefer European roulette over American roulette for a lower house edge. If French roulette with La Partage or En Prison rules is available, that is even better for even-money bets. Set a budget before you play and stick to it. Remember that each spin is independent — past results have no effect on future outcomes.
